      HOW DO I LOSE FAT FROM MY BELLY, ARMS, ETC.

      You cannot lose weight from a specific area of the body only.  One of the biggest exercise myths is that you can lose fat in an area of the body by strength training or exercising that specific body part. The truth is that “spot reducing” and “spot toning” do not work, because you cannot order your body to oxidize fat from a certain area.  Also, you can’t change fat into muscle. Doing sit ups will not decrease the amount of fat you have on your belly.

      As you age, your skin will become less elastic and therefor conform less to your arms, legs, etc. So, for instance, “flabby arms” are to a degree a product of age. Any exercise that decreases body fat percentage will help you lose fat on your arms, just as it will help you lose fat from other areas of the body.

      DO I NEED TO TAKE SUPPLEMENTS?

      You do not need dietary supplements unless you have a documented vitamin deficiency or you do not eat a balanced diet and such a recommendation should come from a doctor. It is always healthier to acquire vitamins and minerals from food than to obtain them from a pill.

      DO I NEED A GYM MEMBERSHIP?

      No, if you don’t have the equipment for an exercise prescribed, we can adjust your workout to accommodate the resources you do have available.

      HOW LONG UNTIL I SEE RESULTS?

      This depends on you, your discipline, and your genetics.  Some elements, such as how consistent you are with your workouts and your ability to stay away from bad foods, are dependent on you.  Other factors are out of your control, it’s just the genes you were given.  We encourage you to use the 3 month or 6 month program so you have enough time to meet your goals and can deal with the minor setbacks work, family, illness, etc., life offers up.
